Dropster Laundry Platform ("Dropster Laundry", "we", "us"), based in Dubai, UAE, is the data controller for personal data collected through this site and app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.

• Identity & contact: name, mobile number, email address.
• Address: delivery building, apartment, area, location pin.
• Order data: pickup/delivery history, bag scans, receipts.
• Financial data: wallet balance, payment method used, transaction reference. We do not store full card numbers.
• Technical data: device, browser, IP, error logs for security and debugging.
• Communication data: WhatsApp messages, support requests, feedback.

How we use your data

To operate pickups and deliveries, send order updates and receipts via WhatsApp, manage your wallet balance, process payments, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and improve our service. We do not sell your data.

Who we share data with

We share the minimum data needed with the following recipients:

• Paddle.com Market Limited — our payment processor and Merchant of Record for online wallet top-ups. Paddle receives your name, email, billing address, IP, and transaction details to process payment and comply with tax and anti-fraud regulations. See Paddle's privacy notice.
• WhatsApp / Meta — for transactional message delivery.
• Cloud hosting & database providers — for storing and serving the app.
• Our drivers and partner laundries — to fulfil pickups and deliveries.
• UAE authorities — only where required by law.

WhatsApp communication

By creating an account you consent to receive transactional WhatsApp messages from us. You can opt out anytime by contacting support; this may limit order notifications.

Storage, retention & security

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with role-based access and row-level security. Only authorized staff can view client information. We retain order and financial records for the period required by UAE tax and consumer law (typically 5 years) and delete other personal data on request.
